Preston is a Traffic Engineer and Project Manager for ITS Projects focused in the Midwest but with projects across the country. He has 16 years experience on ATMS projects such as State and Region wide (Michigan, Illinois, Missouri), Tollways (Indiana, Illinois, Rhode Island), County (Lake County), City (Chicago), and managed lane specific (Michigan, Virginia, Illinois, New York), as well as signal timing and design. Preston is a graduate from the research intensive University of Wisconsin and has a Masters from the University of Illinois. He holds positions on the international TRB Traffic Signal Systems committee as well as the ITS Midwest Board.
