About me
My name is Jack Palmeri, and I am a Security Engineer and Protective Design Consultant working for Arup's Security and Risk team in San Francisco. Through my work on various multi-disciplinary projects, I have become well versed in finite element analysis (FEA) as it relates to detailed structural designs subjected to blast or hostile vehicle impact. Over my career, I have gained experience in blast engineering and modeling, structural dynamic analysis, computation fluid dynamics (CFD), material strength calibration, hostile vehicle mitigation, and development of threat and risk assessments. This has allowed me to develop skills in various software and coding including LS-DYNA, Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, Python, and Hypermesh.
